Energy Briefing

An event to keep our members informed on the evolving global energy landscape. Held monthly and catered by a local coffee shop, this 1 hour event recaps all the major news from the past month across the energy sector. It is organized in three sections: (1) Technology and Investments, (2) Geopolitics, and (3) Energy Markets. Our club compiles baseline reports to guide the discussion, which is led by the LEC President, but the floor is open to anyone who has something to share. We invite students to partake in this info briefing to stay up to date on current events. For special sessions, an industry expert is invited to guide the session.

The discussion is very rigorous and is held at an advanced level. Terminology is annotated throughout to help new students follow along. This event is specifically designed to train students on the terminology, history, and breadth of knowledge to have a solid background for pursuing careers in energy finance, government, and investment banking.
