General Meetings
Each month, the LEC holds a 1.5 hour general meeting to gather all members together for networking and learning. This event launches with a brief social activity followed by the Student Speaker Series, where two students deliver separate 5-10 minute presentations to discuss a topic that interests them. Then, the main event is an invited guest from industry or a company panel that talks about their work, career, or perspective. It closes with a networking mixer and social activity.
Over the course of the year, we invite companies and agencies from all across the energy sector to discuss technology, policy, and finance. Our intention is for our members to learn how each part of the industry works and cooperates with one another.
