The Longhorn Energy Club hosts four larger events each year with over 100 attendees and co-hosts two university-wide events in partnership with the UT Energy Institute.

  • A one night special event at the Texas Science & Natural History Museum highlighting energy startups with breakthrough technological innovations.

  • Coming in Fall 2026: a hackathon-style weekend-long event focusing on a business-oriented solution to an energy-related dilemma in Texas.

  • A graduate student pitch competition where each student has three minutes to communicate their research.

  • An energy policy-oriented discussion at the intersection between energy development and the environment.
