Longhorn Energy Briefings

The LEC is piloting a new social activity: the Longhorn Energy Briefing. This 1 hour event is held monthly at a local coffee shop in Austin and focuses on a discussion about the current events in the energy sector. Scientific breakthroughs, landmark court cases, geopolitical events, major investment decisions, and more from the past month are recapped from the account of the participants of the briefing. The LEC team compiles some baseline reports to guide the discussion, but the floor is open to anyone who has something to share. We invite professors, local energy professionals, and students to partake in this info briefing to stay up to date on global energy news.
